how we met
Shortly after the Gavins moved to Los Angeles from Germany, Klavier became a regular fixture at small local shows, usually posted up near the stage to watch Connor play guitar with his band. One night, when Klavier was too young to attend a bar show, Kristoph went in his place—he had a question to ask the young guitarist.
After the set, Kristoph approached Connor to ask about guitar lessons for his brother. Connor agreed, and the conversation stretched longer than either of them expected. Somewhere between music and small talk, they realized they were both incoming law students at the same university—and both dealing with housing problems. Kristoph was struggling to afford rent; Connor was struggling to find a place at all.
By the end of the night, they’d made a practical decision that would change everything: they became roommates. Neither of them thought much of it at the time. In hindsight, it was the start of something messier, louder, and far more significant than either of them had planned.

Connor expresses love through closeness. He loves cuddling, and when he can't, he often finds a way to stay close to Kristoph. Touch is grounding for him; it’s how he stays present and connected, especially when words fall short.
